About Telleby
Social entrepreneurship
Telleby was founded as “Järna Skyddade Verkstäder” by Geert Mulder in 1969 and has operated as a social enterprise since its inception.
Our business is based on several different challenges in society, where we meet the needs of both those who work for us and those who buy our products and services.
Telleby is a platform fostering the growth of individuals that can lead to studies or other work. The individual participates in a concrete workshop production that builds competence and professional identity.
Telleby is a non-profit foundation with no individual profit motive, which means that no owners share in the surplus, but this is always reinvested in the business.
Social entrepreneurship broadens the workforce so that even people with disabilities can be a resource in society.
